Volunteer for the Korea Animal Protection Society and give love to needy dogs and cats.

Volunteer to help orphans.  Many volunteers teach English to the kids, but if you have another skill you can teach it, instead.  I teach photography and Taekkyun.   I take the kids on excursions, such as to a concerts and festivals, or just downtown for a movie.  I found my place by asking co-workers, but this site will help you find an orphanage near you.   You can also volunteer at a Boek-ji-gwan.  These are sort of social service centers funded by the city and donations which are located usually in the Joo-goeng apartment complexes (Joo-goeng apartments are gov't subsidized) residents do not live in the Boek-ji-gwan, but the Boek-ji-gwan provides a lot of services (hagwon classes, free hot dinners for kids without someone to cook for them, intervention when someone is being abused, etc.).  If you live in or near a Joo-goeng apartment you could consider volunteering at the Boek-ji-gwan.

This mountain bike site is written by a Korean, and primarily includes links to all sorts of bike sites, some in Korea and some out.  The front page of the "Today Bike" site is almost all KOREAN .

Site is in English and seems to provide a lot of information. Seems to cover the everything for those of the Chrisitain persausian.

There are several programs in Korea that welcome Westerners that want to learn about Buddhism and meditation, to try a retreat, etc.  One friend attended this program and really enjoyed it.   Most of the programs will not accept a student for less than a week.  But it's cheaper than traveling outside of Korea, and will leave you feeling very refreshed.   Another program is offered at Musangsa, a temple a bit outside of Daejeon.  The temple is in the mountains, there is no traffic noise, it's peaceful and beautiful.  The head monk actually attended university in America, well, he's American.  So it's a great place to learn about meditation or Buddhism is perfect English.  He's been a monk for many many years now.
